The museum is located in the newly renovated PWD 105 located at Station Road just behind the Post office. This magnificent building was first used by the Perak Trigonometrical Survey Office in 1891 and by the Taiping Municipal Office in 1930.

Thank you Mr. Chung for this wonderful blog and your many inspiring posts. As a foreigner living in KL, over the years I had slowly resigned myself to the fact that Malaysians seemingly "couldn't be bothered" about things like history, heritage, or the environment, preferring instead all things to be brand-new, ultra-modern, air-conditioned, convenient, etc. It is very heartening to see that I was wrong! May God bless you in your pursuits and interests.
My best wishes,
Martin
